Planning Your Wedding

Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Treasure Coast. We are delighted that you are considering our beautiful facility for your special event. We can accommodate both your wedding ceremony and your celebration reception. Please familiarize yourself with our facilities and amenities, as well as our guidelines and requirements for use. These are outlined under Event Rentals and Renting our Facilities.

Meeting with the Minister

Use of Unitarian Universalist Church of the Treasure Coast facilities for weddings or commitment ceremonies is at the sole discretion of the minister. Please make an appointment to meet with the Reverend Paul Johnson (minister@tcuuc.org or 772-223-5020) early in your planning process.


Staff Fees

The fees for the Minister and the Music Director/organist are payable directly to each individual at the wedding rehearsal. Please pay by check or cash..


Personnel Substitutes

The Church assumes that you will use our Minister and Music Director for your ceremony unless other plans are made and approved by the Minister and Music Director. Please note that the Music Director is entitled to request his customary fee even if you choose to use another musician.


Wedding Coordinator

The Church’s wedding coordinator is available to assist you with arrangements pertaining to your wedding at our church.  She is available throughout your pre-wedding planning, during your rehearsal, and on your wedding day.

Marriage License

A valid marriage license issued by the Clerk of a town or city in Florida must be given to the Minister prior to the wedding rehearsal.


Use Policies and Renter’s Responsibilities

Wedding applicants must read the Use Policies and Renter’s Responsibilities and agree to the terms of use. Signing Form A, the Facilities Use Form  and/or Form B, the Wedding Service Form (part of the application process) is considered acknowledgement and acceptance of renter’s responsibilities.
