Bob came from upstate Troy, New York. He majored in history and philosophy at West Virginia Wesleyan College then majored in theology at Yale Divinity School. While in college and seminary, he worked small churches to support his young family. He did graduate work in intellectual history at Temple University and in theology at Drew University. He was ordained in the New York Conference of the United Methodist Church. In 2006, he retired and a year later, discovered the TCUUC, where started the book club. In 2008, he began seven years of part-time ministry at the TCUUC then retired again and moved to Asheville, NC. A year later, Bob and his wife returned to the area, and the TCUUC.

Planning Your Loved One’s Funeral or Memorial Service
Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Treasure Coast. We are happy to help you as you plan your loved one’s sacred rite of passage and honor the life with a special Memorial Service. Our facilities can accommodate the memorial service and a reception, if you choose.
Please familiarize yourself with our facilities and amenities, as well as, our guidelines and requirements for use. These are outlined on this website under Facilities and Rental Info.
We encourage you to schedule a tour of our lovely church sanctuary and/or reception hall if that is convenient. To do so please send an email to rentals@tcuuc.org and we will respond promptly. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Meeting with Our Minister

Personnel Substitutes
The Church assumes that you will use our Minister and Music Director for your service unless other plans are made and approved by the Minister and Music Director. Please note that the Music Director is entitled to request his customary fee even if you choose another musician..
Staff Fees
The fees for the Minister and the Music Director are payable directly to each individual prior to the Memorial Service. Please pay by check or cash.
Use Policies and Renter’s Responsibilities
Memorial Service applicants must read the Use Policy and Renter’s Responsibilities and agree to the terms of use. Signing Form A, the Facilities Use Form and/or Form C, the Memorial Service Form. (part of the application process) is considered acknowledgement and acceptance of renter’s responsibilities.
